Join us for this community celebration of Drawing and the Arts in a family day event for all ages. Participate in a range of fun, new drawing-based arts activities. Experiment. Experience. Join in the fun and check out progress on the 2009 Community Mural underway. The Tampa Museum of Art will offer a wide range of hands-on art activities for participants of all ages. These include Matisse-inspired activities, Picasso-inspired abstract self-portraits, cave painting, marble drawing, and so much more. Join in the SSAC sponsored Street Painting Design Extravaganza--and visit the Giant Puppet Workshop underway in the nearby BIGDRAW Studio steps away. Participants at the DRAW-IN will be joining in a celebration of drawing held in over 1300 venues around the world on this International Day of Drawing. THE RUSKIN BIG DRAW-IN is a free event . THE BIG DRAW-IN is hosted by SouthShore Arts Council, Tampa Museum of Art, Mary&Martha House Shelter---and the great support of participating partners and sponsors.
